Children growing up today are frequent users of mobile phones, iPads and computers. But partly because of physical inactivity, they risk a shorter lifespan than their parents. Technology is often seen as part of the problem but it can also be a part of the solution. Anna-Karin Lindqvist, researcher in physiotherapy at Luleå University of Technology, and herself a former elite athlete discuss how technology can be used to promote children's physical activity.
