EIT INNOVEIT 2015 - Budapest

More than 700 participants registered for the EIT INNOVEIT 2015 event in Budapest 5-7th of May. Eighty journalists expressed a wish to participate; fifty representatives from first tier media were selected.

The EIT described the session Virtual Cities as one of the cornerstones of the showcasing of KICs at EIT INNOVEIT 2015. Eight innovations/innovative activities showcased from Climate-KIC, EIT ICT Labs and KIC InnoEnergy and three innovation plans from EIT Health and EIT Raw Materials.

Maria Magdalena Holmgren, Interim Manager, EIT RawMaterials Northern Co-Location Centre, introduced the lighthouse programme ’Smart Mining Solutions' followed by discussions. There was a great interest on the lighthouse programme on innovative mining solutions from EU-Commission, European Institute of Innovation & Technology, EIT Climate, EIT InnoEnergy, EIT Digital (former ICT Labs) and Ministries from all over Europe.
