The ambassador of Indonesia visited the university
H.E. Kamapradipta Isnomo, Indonesian Ambassador in Sweden and Latvia visited Luleå University of Technology. The Ambassador showed a great interest in the university's research in eHealth and got to see the activity laboratory and energy engineering.
The activity laboratory is an apartment that consists of a kitchen and living room, a bedroom and study and a bathroom. The laboratory will be used in both research and teaching about assessment of needs as well as measures for people to function in their daily activities in the home environment.
"A lot is happening in the area of Swedish-Indonesian cooperation, including in eHealth and green energy. A lot is happening within the collaboration Sweden Indonesia Sustainability Partnership (SISP)," says Per-Olof Egnell, operational manager at innovation and eHealth at Luleå University of Technology.
The university also had the chance to present CH2ESS, a new research and knowledge initiative focusing on hydrogen use in industrial processes and energy systems. Hydrogen is the key to a fossil-free energy system for the green transition that is now taking place with full force in northern Sweden.
CEO Bengt Grahn from the Luleå company Compodium participated to talk about their growth journey and the importance of infrastructure for secure encrypted digital meetings. The company Compodium will be listed on the stock exchange in the near future.
"It felt like a rewarding meeting for all parties", says Per-Olof Egnell, who hopes for a future exchange of doctoral students and collaborative projects.
In addition to the ambassador, Mr. Akbar Makarti, Economic Affairs Coordinator and Mr. Linggar Pangestu, Desk Officer for Economic Affairs at the embassy.
