Academic Profile

I am an architect and urban planner educated in Europe but with a robust academic experience in Asia. I work at the intersection of planning, design, and geography in the global South and North. My work focuses broadly on how to build Resourceful Communities. Cross-cutting themes are resilience, landscape, transdisciplinarity, and energy. I have worked in a number of externally funded research projects at the national and international scales for a combined 15 mEUR. Funders include the Qatar National Research Fund, European Commission's framework programme, Swedish Energy Agency, Swedish Research Council Formas, and Vinnova.
