Presentations from webinar: Life cycle perspective supported by digitalizing
Digital climate calculations for sustainable urban development. The webinar was held in English. See the presentations in links below.
What do new requirements for climate declarations for buildings mean for municipal officials and construction developers? How can LCA/LCCA be used for climate calculations to support sustainable urban development? What are the challenges, and how can digitalisation help overcome these? These are some of the issues discussed during a webinar organized by the Luleå University of Technology in cooperation with partner organizations within the project ESBE- Enhanced Sustainability of Built Environment by Collaboration and Digitalization.
The webinar was moderated by Susanne Engström, a researcher in innovation och change in construction at Luleå University of Technology, and include presentations by:
- Sofia Lidelöw, Luleå University of Technology, a researcher in environmentally sustainable building and renovation. Topic: Climate calculation and declaration of buildings, an overview of recent developments in Sweden
- Helena NydahlGireesh Nair, Umeå University, researchers in energy efficiency in buildings. Topic: Extended building life cycle cost assessment with inclusion of monetary evaluation of climate risk and opportunities
- Marcus Sandberg, Luleå University of Technology, a researcher in digitalised construction. Topic: Digital workflows for climate calculation and optimisation of buildings
- Kai Tolonen, Pekka Harju and Vesa Pitsinki, Oulu University of Applied Sciences, senior lecturers in construction engineering and management. Topic: Roadmap to sustainability of built environment by collaboration and digitalization
