ePilot - a project by Luleå Railway Research Center
The project ePilot is a development and implementation project to develop the work of railway maintenance. The goal is to improve punctuality and minimize disruption in rail traffic through developing a decision support for maintenance.
The project is based on an industry collaboration between Luleå Railway Research Center, JVTC, at Luleå University of Technology and various railway companies and maintenance contractors in Sweden.
The project ePilot119 worked on track section 119 between Boden and Luleå between 2014-2016. The results was implemented on a national level during the ePilot 2.0-project that was running between 2017-2019.
