Contribute to more efficient utilisation of infrastructure for organic waste treatment

Achieve increased production of high-value materials / energy carriers from wastes and improved economic performance of waste treatment

Formulate new concepts for interaction between biological and thermochemical waste treatment and assess those concepts (energy and resource efficiency, environmental and economic performance, and feasibility of implementation)

Strong stakeholder perspective:
- Establishing a panel of actors within biological and thermal waste treatment and users of recycled resources
- Enable knowledge transfer regarding identified opportunities
