General background 

I was born in Thailand and obtain my Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB).

In 2013, I got a scholarship to study a Master's program in Sweden, which is the time I first came to Sweden. I completed my Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and was employed as a research engineer there for half a year. 

From 2016 (until present), I have been employed as a PhD candidate in the Energy Science division at LTU under supervision of Prof. Kentaro Umeki (LTU) and Prof. Markus Broström (Umeå University). My research is focussed on biomass char production and utilisation in the metallurgical industry. 

Research: Biocarbon production for metallurgical industry 

My research focusses on the production of biomass char for metallurgical applications and other industrial applications. Optimum pyrolysis process with high yield and satisfied char quality is the target to develop during this research. The study of heterogeneous reactions of biomass char is another main part of my research to investigate the possibility to use biomass char in specific thermochemical processes. Knowledge and invention of my research are drawn from a lab- and pilot-scale experiment, and numerical simulation.

I have been learning and contributing to a variety of research fields, such as reaction kinetics, reactor simulation, and process design. My laboratory experiences include proximate and ultimate analysis, TGA, XRD, SEM, and TEM. Moreover, model simulation and pilot-scale experiment are part of my expertise.
