David Rönnberg Sjödin, PhD student in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, got together with Johan Frishammar and Per-Erik Eriksson, professor and assistant professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, recently an award for Best paper at the conference IAMOT in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

IAMOT stands for the International Association for Management of Technology and more than 400 scientists from 50 different countries participated. 270 articles were presented, but the LTU researchers' contribution impressed the most on the jury.

The article is about how to deal with uncertainty and equivocality in open innovation projects in which different actors interact across corporate boundaries.

The research is based on a qualitative study and a large survey with 251 respondents from both buyers and suppliers in 52 joint development projects.

The justification for the price mentioned that the article was based on a very solid method and attacked a relevant problem in the field of management of technology.
