Johan Frishammar, professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, is together with the researcher Anders Richtner, Handelshögskolan in Stockholm, the editor of a book about how large Swedish companys are dealing with innovation.

The results are presented in the book Innovation management and creativity in Swedish companies that are issued by Vinnova and IMIT and can be downloaded without charge from the web. The book analyzes how innovation and creativity occurs in leading Swedish companies such as LKAB, SCA, Sandvik, Volvo and others. Some questions are: who does what, how can managers act to create and maintain creativity in business, what leads innovation in the early stages, and how companies can balance the need for innovation and efficiency? One of the book's ten chapters is prepared by LTU researchers Johan Frishammar and Monika Kurkkio together with representation from companies. Besides the LTU researchers are leading researchers in the field of entrepreneurship/innovation from several Swedish universities involved.
