Researchers were awarded at prestigious conference

In connection with the conference Spring Servitization Conference 2019 in Linköping, May 13-15, a leading international conference within its area, researchers within Entrepreneurship and Innovation were rewarded at Luleå University of Technology.

– It was so nice that our research group got this recognition and attention - for research we presented and plan to work with in the future, Wiebke Reim, says, a researcher within Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Luleå University of Technology.

–What is unique about both these studies that got the awards is that we were trying to match highly practical industrial problems with academic rigor and insight. These awards support our vision at LTU that we should continue to focus on industry relevance and contribution, Vinit Parida says, Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Luleå University of Technology.

The research group in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Luleå University of Technology was given two awards: Best Poster Award for Ecosystem Business Models for Smart City Platforms, was awarded Lina Sundén, David Sjödin and Vinit Parida. Best Paper Award for Global Implementation of Circular Business Models - Decision Support, was awarded Wiebke Reim, David Sjödin and Vinit Parida.

The Spring Servitization Conference 2019 in Linköping, is organized by Linköping University, for the world's leading researchers, practitioners and doctoral students, with the aim of debating and engaging in the theory and practice of servitization, which can be said to be about technical change and a new business thinking when it comes to a revolutionary change in the manufacturing industry. This year, the theme was "Delivering Services Growth in the Digital Era".
