Sara Thorgren's research has focused on relationships between organizations linked to entrepreneurship, but also studies where the entrepreneur is put under research. More recently, she has focused her research on entrepreneurial passion in project-based contexts.
– Lina Andersson and Sara Thorngren belongs to the young leading entrepreneurship researchers, and both have been published in journals of high quality, says Professor Bo Carlsson, Case Western Reserve University, Ohio, and chairman of the committee appointed Laureates.
Since 2010 has Sara Thorgen received 15 scientific articles published in scientific journals and 17 conference papers, which is an impressive production rate in less than two years.
The price of SEK 50 000 is awarded annually since 2003 by Entreprenörskapsforum. The winner must do research at a Swedish university or college, be younger than 35 years at the time of nomination and have distinguished themselves through their academic work.
I late 2012 was Sara Thorngren also awarded the Kungl. Skytteanska Samfundets award for her outstanding research.
