Pulsed Nd:YAG laser with optical parametric oscillator (OPO)
Publicerad: 19 september 2013
This laser system produces light pulses with a wavelength that can be continuously tuned in the range 445-1750 nm.

This very versatile laser system from Continuum consists of a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser with a pulse energy of over 300 mJ at 355nm (600 mJ at 532 nm) that is coupled to an optical parametric oscillator (OPO) that produces light pulses with a wavelength that can be continuously tuned in the range 445-1750 nm. The system operates at 10 hz and the maximum pulse energy from the OPO is 40 mJ. The line width of the light from the OPO is short enough (0.075 cm-1) for use in many interferometric and holographic experiments.
