Service over the internet, especially Online Social Networks, uses their users’ information for various purposes. Less is known about users attitudes towards these practices, because the full sensitivity of the information inferred by Social Network companies is hidden from them. In this talk, Ali Padyab, PhD student in Information Systems at Luleå University of Technology, discuss and aims to empower users with more awareness on the value of their information disclosed and its implications for their privacy.
