Visiting Professor Mehdi Amini received prestigious award
Dr. Mehdi Amini has been awarded the George Johnson professorship at the University of Memphis, USA. Dr. Amini is Visiting Professor in Industrial Marketing at LTU and is every year teaching business students in the course Supply Chain Management.
Dr. Medhi Amini is Professor of Marketing and Supply Chain Management and has now been awarded a George Johnson Professorship at the Fogelman College of Business, University of Memphis. The award recognizes outstanding faculty contributions in the areas of research, teaching, and service.
The motivation is: "In his 27-year career at University of Memphis, Dr. Amini consistently gets published in journals. Dr. Amini has demonstrated effective teaching in difficult quantitative undergraduate and graduate level courses. He has been effective in securing funded research which has brought substantial resources to the University. He has also founded the Enterprise Simulation and Optimization."
