LTU and Centek cultivates relationships between students and industry

During ten weeks, 46 aspiring civil engineers of industrial economy have worked on behalf of Outinens Potatoes. The successful results were presented last week.
– I am deeply impressed of the students, says Rune Routuvaara, board member of Outinens Potatoes to Centek.

The students have spent a total of 18 000 hours on the project. They have analyzed the business and formulated concrete suggestions on how Outinens Potatoes can develop their business.

A project by the Business Bridge

The project is based on LTU's venture the Business Bridge which is led by Conny Hökfors on Centek. Outinens Potatoes are happy with the collaboration and positive towards the results.

– We have been able to see on our own business through the eyes of others and thus received several new approaches, says Karl Johan Outinen.

Even Hakan Perzon, lecturer at LTU, provides students with much praise.

– It is a joy to follow the students in their work and see how they go from strength to strength, says Håkan Perzon.
