The Bioactive Molecules Research Group

Published: 26 November 2008

Bioactive molecules are a wide range of molecules of both natural and synthetic origin.

Commonly these molecules have the capacity to interact with the human body and hence they are of interest for pharmaceutical applications. The research performed within the group comprises the study of complex proteins, peptides and simple organic molecules. By studying the natural bioactive molecules or their synthetic analogues, valuable information about their therapeutic value as well as understanding of state of diseases can be gained.
