
Jet fuel production at the university

The Biochemical Process Engineering research group has been granted 4.7 million SEK from the Swedish Energy Agency for a project entitled upGrading of Organosolv Lignin to JET FUEL (GOLdJET FUEL).
The objective of the 2.5-year project is to valorize organosolv lignin fraction from forest residues into high value jet fuel. Project partners are Chemical Technology at LTU, Kiram AB and RISE Processum.
