The MINERS PhD Network aims to create contacts and networks between doctoral students, researchers as well as authorities and industry, which are active in mining, metals production and exploration-related research and activities in Sweden. The network is part of the Strategic Innovation Program for the Swedish Mining and Metal producing industry, SIP STRIM.

The 2nd MINERS workshop is aimed to address the different challenges that Swedish mines are currently facing. Several invited guests from the mining sector will present and discuss their views on the topic. The workshop will also include site visists to the Epiroc facility in Örebro and the Zinkgruvan mine.
