Call for Preparatory Project Proposals on Mineral Waste

Following the NordMin workshop “Mineral waste-disposal or value creation? Need for research and innovation”, held at Mo i Rana, Norway, March 17 2016, we are pleased to launch the 5th Call for Preparatory Project Proposals with the topic “Mineral Waste”.

NordMin will cover the costs for establishing a partnership consortium, in order to develop project ideas for leverage from national, Nordic, EU or International sources, up to a max of 200.000 DKK/PP. The following costs shall be considered as eligible and may be charged to the PP: Preparation costs, Travel costs, Meeting costs, Indirect costs (overheads).

Proposals under this call should:

  • be linked to a coming external call
  • clearly state which specific call is targeted
  • clearly state how the funding will be used
  • involve a minimum  of 3 partners from at least 3 different Nordic countries (Letters of Interest should be included)

Please note that the full project proposals   (for preparatory projects funded under this call) should be submitted to the external funding body, not later than December 31, 2016.

Evaluation -Decision

Proposals will be evaluated by NordMin Steering Committee. Decision on funding is expected by the end of May 2016.
