The workshop was organized within the research and innovation area of health. Invited were researchers at the university.
– The purpose is to achieve collaborations across the subject boundaries, we can get to know each other and each other's competencies in order to see possible collaborations, says Åsa Engström.
Both ongoing and future research projects were presented and then a discussion on opportunities for different types of collaboration in the research followed.
Anna Berg Jansson, senior lecturer in work science, talked about two projects. They were about nurses' conditions for learning in working life and about expectations that young adults in commerce have on leadership, learning and development from a health promotion perspective.
– The discussions afterwards were about the digitization and how new working methods can be implemented, says Åsa Engström.
The first workshop was named "Health promoting lifestyle and meeting aging and illness". An additional seminar will be held in the autumn. Then the theme is "Lab for health".
