She has worked with fellow student Anna Larsson, Lulea, intensively for ten weeks the study Living with malignant melanoma, a form of skin cancer, which is becoming more common.

– We have also objected on each other theses. It's been fun to follow everyone's development and now get to see the end result. I am impressed by everyone's work, continues Anna Larsson.

Prepared for patient encounter

The purpose of the conference is to inform classmates the results and provide an opportunity to discuss the topic after the presentation, but also to practice presenting their results to an audience.

– It's all relevant areas for future profession. The idea is that they will be well prepared when they meet patients in these issues while being scientifically trained, says Åsa Engström, assistant professor of nursing.
