Presentation of a Pan-Scandinavian proposal for ICTAM 2016

Published: 18 August 2010

Staffan Lundström presented a Pan-Scandinavian bid for ICTAM 2016 during IUTAMs meeting in Paris 16-19 July. – It is a congress with about 1500 participants and it is likely that we will arrange a number of smaller conferences in connection to the congress so you can say that it is a huge happening, says Staffan. ICTAM takes place every fourth year and 2012 it will be in Beijing.

The competition is rather tough from Canada, Hungary, India and Italy but we will have a really good final bid for the decision in connection to ICTAM 2012 in Beijing. – It turns out that many people thinks it is time for Scandinavia, there are many skilled people within the area in the Nordic countries and we do have good relations with the industry in our countries.
