Bo Rydins Foundation awards master student for the best degree project

Faksawat Poohpajai from the Master's Program in Wood Technology at Luleå University of Technology, campus Skellefteå has been awarded a scholarship for Best Degree Project 2018. The award is from Bo Rydins Foundation for Scientific Research.

Through her thesis, she has completed the studies in an education whose goal is to "train specialists well suited for technical research and development in industry but also for further research studies all over the world."

Faksawat's thesis work on the subject Wood Technology has the title "Impact of Fast and Slow Kiln Drying Schedule on Mold Resistance of Thermally Modified Scots Pine"

The reward consists of a diploma and a prize of SEK 30,000.

The Research Council at Bo Rydins Foundation annually allocates a number of scholarships to the best master's degree programs within any of the Foundation's priority areas; hygiene products, tissue and forestry products.
