Research

"Smart Wooden bridge in the Smart City 'is an EU Objective 2 North project to develop data, models and tools to measure performance and quality on a wooden structure. Luleå University of Technology have been able to work with the wooden bridge expertise from SP Trätek and Martinsons Träbroar and to install metering equipment at the time of manufacturing and installation. This allows complete data to be collected and analyzed. Information that is created makes it possible to confirm the theoretical calculations but also to continuously check the  "Health status" of the bridge.
