Stormwater Quantity: Sub-surface processes

In order to develop accurate planning tools for urban run-off, more knowledge on the contribution of green infrastructure is needed, for instance, on their ability to retain stormwater depending on sub-surface conditions, such as soil type, degree of moisture, and catchment characteristics. Moreover, the utilization of green infrastructure, instead of impervious surfaces, will lead to a change in water and pollutant transportation processes. This project continues the work of current LTU-studies on these topics.
