Experiences of LPS systems - A knowledge compilation (2021)

Published: 5 May 2021

LPS (low pressure sewers) systems are often advocated as an alternative to conventional gravity pipes. The purpose of this project is to compile knowledge and experience from planning, operation and management of LPS systems in Sweden, which will form a decision guidance for municipal water operators.

To gather experience of LPS systems, a questionnaire was prepared for Swedish water utilties with experience of LPS systems. The survey is open from 13 September to 13 October. We appreciate everyone who takes the time to respond to the survey, which can be reached via bit.ly/LTA-ENKAT.
The answers from the questionnaire will form the basis for the compilation of knowledge.

The project leader is RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, with Solveig Johannesdottir as project manager. The project runs from January to December 2021 and is funded by Svenskt Vatten Utveckling.
