Stormwater&Sewers visiting VAKIN in Umeå
Maria Viklander, Annelie Hedström, Joel Lönnqvist and Youen Pericault traveled to Umeå on September 5 to meet VAKIN.
Maria and Annelie presented the latest news from the research group and had a short presentation on the research cluster Stormwater&Sewers. Joel presented some results from the green roofs located on VAKIN's buildings, current vegetation and some preliminary results from flow measurements, while Youen presented an analysis of historical wiring data provided by VAKIN and presented at the international management network conference SPN9 in Denmark in August entitled "Correcting for the impact of past coordination on the estimation of pipe cohorts survival functions ”.
The rest of the day, the coordination of renewal was discussed and VAKIN talked about the challenges they face in the management networks and stormwater management, and what kind of skills they require from the universities.
