Experience of low pressure sewer (LPS) systems – a new Stormwater&Sewers project
The project "Experiences of low pressure sewer systems – A knowledge compilation" has been granted funding from Swedish Water Development (SVU) and will run during the first half of the year 2021. Solveig Johannesdottir from RISE Research Institutes of Sweden will be the project leader of this Stormwater&Sewers project with a project team from RISE, Luleå University of Technology and ten different Swedish municipal water and sanitation departments and companies.
The aim of the project is to collect and disseminate knowledge about LPS systems by making existing knowledge available, showing good examples and spreading knowledge about management, practical use and implementation. An important milestone in the project will be a workshop organized in connection with the Stormwater&Sewers seminar on February 26, 2021, and providing all seminar participants with the opportunity to give an input to the project on which aspects should be prioritized in the collection of experiences. The lessons learned from the workshop will be included in the project's implementation and influence the survey study and interviews to be conducted in spring.
