Appointed IWA Fellow 2014
Maria Viklander, having been nominated earlier this year for the IWA Fellow Award now was appointed IWA Fellow at the IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition in Lisbon, Portugal. The conference took place September 21-26, 2014, and showed more than 5000 participants from all over the world. The presentation of the IWA Fellows Awards 2014 were part of the conference program.

In 2010 the IWA Board of Directors instituted the IWA Fellows program to recognise the professional excellence of those members who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of the field of water science, technology and management and to solicit help in their continuing this work by acting as active ambassadors of the IWA.
