Research in the urban water area may be affected by this summer's changes in the Swedish Aliens Act. The concern is great among foreign doctoral students. At the same time, there are some opportunities.
"In our group, we currently have 24 doctoral students / research students. Of these, nine or ten have passports that come from outside the EU," says Annelie Hedström, professor of urban water engineering at Luleå University of Technology.
