In his PhD work he will carry out a number of field studies on already established bioretention facilities in Sweden monitoring pollutants removal of a wide range of contaminants such as heavy metals, nutrients and suspended solids. In a further step, he will develop the facilities’ prestanda with regard to climate adaption and contaminants removal.
Ali holds a M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering and Water Resources (M.Sc.) from University of Tehran, Iran and studied Civil Engineering (B.Sc.) at Khaje Nasir Toosi University, Tehran, Iran. For his master thesis, he surveyed the application and risk of nanoparticles in soil and water treatment.
