New projects from the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency

During the summer, Stormwater&Sewers got funding for three new projects from the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.
One project will investigate in a laboratory study whether leaching of biocides from impregnated building materials and surface treatments are sources of stormwater pollution. A second project will evaluate in a field study the purification of stormwater with compact treatment plants and a third, also a field study, will focus on the purification of stormwater and snowmelt in a sectioned sedimentation ditch, designed to function for both local snow storage and purification.
Responsible for the projects are Heléne Österlund, Godecke Blecken and Maria Viklander.
