AI in the welfare sector = relief in welfare professional work = improved working environment?

In a multidisciplinary research team, where Human Work Science, Machine Learning and Health Science are involved, the focus is on and how AI can contribute to welfare, more specifically to the professionals and the patients. Our part is about studying and developing the work processes of welfare professionals, where tasks that can be delegated to a new artificial colleague are done. This, in turn, is expected to improve the working environment through reduced workload, and more focus for the welfare professionals on the more complex and demanding work tasks. Improved working environment is expected to contribute to decreased sick leave and better quality of operations.
