Smart Unions for New Industry

Published: 29 January 2018

The aim of this project, entitled SUNI (Smart Unions for New Industry), is to strengthen the capacity of workers’ organisations to deal with the challenges arising from the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

It will bring together research centres and workers’ organisations from four EU countries excelling in manufacturing production, in a view of designing and carrying out information and training measures as well as social dialogue initiatives specifically targeted to employees’ representatives in the manufacturing sector, whose productivity and competitiveness are expected to be increased following the adoption of Industry 4.0. The Swedish partners in the project are Human work science at Luleå University of Technology and IF Metall.
