This public Forum will be held on 17th to 19th October 2007 at the Diagora congress centre at Labège on the south-eastern outskirts of Toulouse. It will comprise plenary sessions interspersed with short parallel sessions. There will be a press briefing on the morning of day 1.
This three-day Forum will be constructed around the full set of services and results developed during the project and will show how these are being and can be exploited both within the European Aeronautical and Space Industry and the transport vehicle market in general. The presentations and demonstrations will cover themes of system and component simulation, whole engine development, supply chain manufacturing workflow simulation, etc. and will represent selected “use cases”, i.e. real industrial simulations of a part of the aircraft or the engine or of a development process.
On the first morning, senior management sessions will focus on the project’s business benefits to be gained in response to the challenges set at the outset of the project. Further main plenary sessions on days 1, 2 and 3 will cover all the services and results developed with the parallel sessions explaining these in more technical detail. There will be a Supply Chain session on the morning of day 3.
In addition there will be stands operating throughout the event where the project workpackages and some project partners will display and discuss their detailed VIVACE results and provide ad hoc demonstrations.
This is the final dissemination event of the VIVACE project where Division of Functional Product Development is the only Swedish academic partner.
