Peter Törlind participated both as a jury, and expert in the 24 hour race which was arranged by LTU Innovation.

The contest, which took place had the task of changing the campus - "Lulea Campus 2.0", a newer and better version than the current. 5 teams set up to challenge this task and after 24 hours of really hard work results were presented before a jury of 5 different categories in which Peter was in the category of Creativity and Innovation.

The students did a very good job and a variety of solutions could be seen; ranging from new buildings, with ski runs, improved rengbågsallé, light that illuminates the snow and a car rental service on campus.

What was clear in all the teams was the absence of winter on the campus, the LTU brand is based on the winter so why not see winter activities on campus. Such as a half-pipe, ice climbing, skiing between student areas and others. As a jury member, I think it's good that this kind of arrangement is made at the university and I hope we can develop the concept for next time, this was just a prototype ...
