Engineering Psychology

Research in engineering psychology is concerned primarily with the interaction between humans and the natural and social environment. The purpose of this research is to increase understanding of how humans are affected by, and affect, their physical and social environment. Most projects are of an applied nature in which psychological theory and method are used, usually in direct cooperation with the persons concerned.

Areas of focus are environmental psychology, safety, and haptics..
