The Swedish Gasification Center (SFC) is organizing a workshop that presents and discusses new instruments for renewable fuels and their impact on the biofuels industry, both in general but primarily with the aim of establishing gasification plants for the production of biofuels in Sweden.
The program includes presentations on the new Renewal Directive (RED II), the new reduction obligation, their effects on the fuel market and the potential role of gasification technology in a fossil-free Sweden, as well as giving participants the opportunity to discuss these issues.
Questions that the workshop intends to highlight and discuss is about:
Are existing instruments sufficient for a large scale implementation of biofuels production through, for example, gasification technology?
If not:
what is missing?
what kind of additional controls or stimulants should be introduced?
No fee. Limited number of seats.
