I received my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (Software Programming) in 2001 and Master’s degree in Information Technology Engineering (IT) in 2011. I have always been working with the end-users since 2001 when I started my own business and a number of computer information systems for various organizations were developed in that company. As a project leader, IT software manager, system analyst and software developer, I have been constantly in interaction with the end-users in all phases of developing computer information systems from contextualization, to design, test and evaluation.
After 13 years of professional experience, I decided to pursue my education and become a PhD student at Luleå Tekniska Universitet in 2015, again focusing on user engagement in Living Lab research, with a particular emphasis on users' motivations and needs. I have also had the chance of working in different innovation and research projects that are financed by the European Commission. Currently, I am involved in the projects such as the Horizon 2020 project U4IoT, the Horizon 2020 project PrivacyFlag, and the Horizon 2020 project UNaLab as a Living Lab expert, end user support specialist, user engagement expert and test admin.
