Alexandra Müller’s research field is mainly related to identifying and evaluating potential sources of urban stormwater pollution. The focus of the scientific work is to investigate the contribution of pollutants from urban surfaces and materials, e.g. roofs and facades, to stormwater runoff. Alexandra is currently running a pilot project at LTU campus, studying the contribution of pollutants from building surface materials. Alexandra’s research work includes laboratory and pilot-scaled experiments as well as field measurements of stormwater and urban snow quality.
