About me
Alexandra Müller’s research field is mainly related to identifying and evaluating potential sources of urban runoff pollution. The focus of the scientific work is to investigate the contribution of pollutants from vehicular traffic as well as urban surfaces and materials, e.g. roofs and facades, to urban stormwater runoff. The pollutant groups studied include both metals and organic micropollutants. Alexandra is currently running a pilot project at LTU campus, studying the contribution of pollutants from building surface materials and the potential effects on aquatic organisms. Alexandra’s research work includes laboratory and pilot-scaled experiments as well as field measurements of stormwater and urban snow quality.
