Anders Sellgren. Professor Emeritus

Former head of the Division of Water Resources Engineering with supervisory assistance during about 25 years in various graduate thesis works in hydraulics, hydrology, heat and fluid flow in soils and in his special area: slurry transportation, which goes from two-phase non-Newtonian fluid mechanics to energy and water savings in the mining and minerals industry. He has published numerous papers and is co-author of the book “Slurry transport using centrifugal pumps”, now in a 3rd edition. Recently he has served as an academic contributor to a first American National Standard Institute (ANSI)/Hydraulic Institute standard on centrifugal slurry pumps.
