Chunyan Ma is a goal-oriented PhD student with expertise in thermodynamic modelling and process simulation in bioenergy process. She got her master's degree in chemical engineering at Nanjing Tech University, China (2015). She started PhD study in the division of energy engineering since 2016. Her research topic is the development of the energy-efficient and cost-effective technology based on the new material (ionic liquids) for CO2 capture. Her research interests are CO2 capture and utilization with ionic liquids from experimental and theoretical studies.
