Cristinas' research in architecture and urban studies is focused on urban resource systems in relation to the data center industry. She is currently mapping the data center waste-heat utilization phenomena in Sweden to investigate its legal, physical, and socio-technical processes and implications. The overall aim is to integrate the emerging data center industry into the local context and maximize its impact through a circular cities approach.
