My research interest is within the field of mechatronic systems with main focus on mobile robots and ground vehicles. The scope of my research is to study measurement and control systems to enable autonomous functionality and teleoperation.
Currently I am working with the project Computerized Test Driver where the general idea is to perform repeated test sequences of a vehicle and draw conclusions of the vehicle performance.
In the past I have been involved in developing several different mobile robots.
Vehicles including a remote controlled and self driving Caterpillar 973c track loader, a remote controlled John Deere 4720 tractor, the MICA wheelchair (Mobile Internet Connected Assistant), and a few different RC-cars.
Commonly used equipment in my research are gyroscope, proximity sensor, odometry and GPS.
