Jil Sutaria has completed her B.E in Electrical engineering from GCET, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, India, in 2010 and M.Tech in Power Electronics, Machines, and Drives from Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India in 2013. She has more than five years of experience and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in electric power engineering at Luleå Technical University, Skellefteå, Sweden.

Her main areas of interest include Power Quality,Power electronic converter design, and Electromagnetic compatibility.
