Jonny Nilimaa is working as an associate lecturer in Structural Engineering. He graduated in 2015 on strengthening and upgrading of existing concrete bridges. Current research projects involve thermal cracking in young concrete, environmental assessments of concrete structures, structural health monitoring and inspection of existing structures. He is also teaching in undergraduate and third cycle courses, as well as supervision of master thesis projects.
