General

Born in 1981, in Härnösand. Mechanical Engineer student at Luleå University of Technology from 2002-2007. After 2 years in Gothenburg working in the automotive industry with engine development, I decided to return to the division of Energy Technology in Luleå.

There are many things in the field of Energy that engage me. Special interests are Thermodynamic cycles, combustion and gasification.

If you have any question regarding my research, education, interest or other please feel free to contact me!

Research

My research is focused on thermo chemical conversion of biomass via gasification. Together with ETC in Piteå (www.etcpitea.se) we will demonstrate that biomass can be converted in an entrained flow gasifier to a high quality syngas. The long term goal is to produce biofuels or chemicals in a high efficient process.

Education

I take part in the following courses:

F7020T Internal Combustion Engines

F0040T Sustainable Energy Systems

Interests

I am interested most kind of outdoor sports. In the winter I spend a lot of time going to mountains for skiing, one of my favorite spots is Riksgränsen. I also like mountain biking, surfing and fishing. When I don’t do outdoor activities I like to travel and cooking food.
