Collaboration with American University in Baghdad

A planned collaboration with American University in Baghdad, Iraq, is being discussed and a new meeting in Sweden is planned for the autumn.
"We have come a little closer to an agreement for a collaboration," says Nadhir Al-Ansari, professor in Soil Mechanics at Luleå University of Technology, and himself with roots in Mosul, Iraq.
Meeting with the Swedish Ambassador, Jonas Loven, at the Swedish Embassy in Baghdad.
Nadhir Al-Ansari has recently traveled around part of Iraq and made numerous contacts for closer cooperation with universities in the region. Luleå University of Technology has many areas of expertise that are in demand in Iraq.
