Nikita's main research interest is in urban stormwater runoff quality. The most recent research is directed towards the application of water quality sensors and work with continuous data sets of high temporal resolution.
Nikita holds a Russian-Finnish double master’s degree in Energy Technology Engineering and obtained specializations in bioenergy and water treatment technologies implemented at thermal and nuclear power plants. Also, he worked on process-modelling projects for chemical water pre-treatment for Russian power plants as a member of the research group at Moscow Power Engineering Institute.
